Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary
Conduct planned, responsive, and cyclical maintenance across three school sites, including service and repair of doors, windows, plumbing systems, plaster, painting, and internal fixtures. Operate plant and tools safely while adhering to Health and Safety Regulations, COSHH, and infection control policies. Maintain asset histories, maintenance records, and helpdesk reports to inform the Lead Engineer and Facilities Manager of follow-up actions. Report all accidents and incidents immediately. Work independently under the supervision of a mobile engineer or as an assistant, ensuring safe working practices and legislative compliance. Hold a valid UK driving licence and an Enhanced DBS with Child Barred List check.
Required Qualifications

- Experience in a buildings or facilities maintenance environment
- Basic skills within joinery
