Job Summary
Maintain a well-decorated, safe, and comfortable environment throughout the site in line with quality standards and statutory regulations. Undertake regular internal and external patrols of the unit and grounds to ensure windows and doors are secured appropriately. Carry out compliance testing for fire alarms, bed inspections, and vehicle checks as instructed. Perform reactive repairs and grounds upkeep while inputting data on IT systems. Work 15 hours per week at Fern Lodge in Chester, supporting the wellbeing of residents with mental health needs and dual diagnoses.
Required Qualifications
- Good tool proficiency
- Good knowledge of health and safety compliance
- Knowledge of water, fire and COSHH compliance
- Experience with grounds upkeep
- Good knowledge of inputting data on IT systems
