Maintenance Assistant Per Diem

Maintenance Assistant responsibilities include maintaining and repairing the facility’s physical plant and systems (plumbing, electrical, structural, and equipment), safely operating power and hand tools, and coordinating repairs with facility staff to minimize disruption. The role requires inspecting the facility and reporting needed repairs to the Maintenance Supervisor, performing routine tasks across plumbing, electrical, mechanical, carpentry, and grounds keeping, and demonstrating cooperative teamwork and a positive attitude toward residents. Prior experience in a hospital or long-term care facility is preferred; valid driver’s license and safe driving record are required.
