Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant in a Pinnacle Senior Living community performs ongoing preventative maintenance, building and grounds upkeep, troubleshooting, and related tasks, with ability to respond to maintenance emergencies outside regular hours. Responsibilities include self-directed task prioritization, safety and infection-control procedures, and providing courteous service to residents, families, staff, and visitors. Requires prior building-maintenance experience and knowledge of plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, plus a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in building maintenance.
- Knowledge of plumbing systems and fixtures (e.g., commodes, fixtures, drains, discharge lines, hot water heaters, dishwashers, ice machines).
- HVAC knowledge including principles of operation and refrigeration.
- Electrical knowledge including wiring, voltage, amperage.
- Mechanical knowledge including design/operation of engines.
- Valid driver’s license; clean driving record.
