Job Summary
Perform general repair tasks including fixing doors, locks, handles, and replacing light bulbs, sockets, and window glass. Handle basic plumbing work such as unclogging drains and repairing leaking faucets or toilets. Inspect electrical panels and wiring for issues requiring immediate repair. Maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and report low stock to the Supervisor. Respond promptly to emergency maintenance and clean-up requests while ensuring all tools and equipment remain in good working condition. This part-time role offers $15.00 per hour with a schedule of one day per week, with potential for additional hours based on Center needs.
Required Qualifications
- Hands-on experience with basic carpentry, plumbing, and general repairs
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
- Good time management and the ability to prioritize tasks
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems
- Familiarity with hand and power tools, as well as general safety equipment
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and customer service skills
