Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant responsibilities include performing general maintenance on a daily basis by responding to resident work orders, repairing plumbing, electrical and appliance issues; daily light bulb walk-around/inspection of public areas; maintaining building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical and kitchen equipment; organizing storage and equipment areas; and completing painting projects for common and office areas. Qualifications emphasize experience in janitorial/maintenance work and familiarity with minor repairs, plus a focus on safety and hazard reduction. This role offers flexible scheduling and benefits typical of a senior living community.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in janitorial/maintenance work preferred
- familiarity with techniques of minor repair and maintenance for structural, electrical, plumbing, security and heating and cooling systems
- Experience in building safety and hazard reduction helpful
