Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant to support daily operation and upkeep of a healthcare facility. Responsibilities include assisting with maintenance, repair and general upkeep of the facility and grounds; basic repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, HVAC, and mechanical systems; routine inspections and preventive maintenance; respond to maintenance requests from residents and staff; maintain equipment/tools; assist with room turnovers and furniture assembly; follow facility policies, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations; maintain a clean, organized, hazard-free workplace; participate in emergency preparedness and facility safety programs.
