Job Summary
Maintain facility by completing daily work orders for minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and drywall repairs; perform routine facility upkeep of internal spaces, resident rooms, and exterior grounds to high safety standards; conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks on facility equipment; ensure compliance with local healthcare regulations and safety guidelines for skilled nursing facilities; assist with emergency maintenance requests and weather-preparation as required; use hand and power tools to troubleshoot mechanical systems; communicate warmly and professionally with elderly residents and medical staff; physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and climb ladders.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of general maintenance, handyman, or apartment/facility upkeep experience preferred
- Background Check: Must clear a routine health screening, drug test, and criminal background check
