Job Summary
Conduct heavy duty cleaning, light grounds care, and maintenance of institutional equipment while keeping records of all work performed. Coordinate tasks with other departments to avoid interrupting patient care or normal business functions. Perform or direct duties for grounds, parking lots, and driveways, including gardening, landscaping, snow removal, and cleaning-up. Maintain availability for on-call emergencies. Read and interpret technical manuals while adhering to local codes, ordinances, and safety regulations.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or graduate of a technical school
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Knowledge of local codes and ordinances
- Knowledge of safety regulations
- Must be able to work as part of a team
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Must be able to be on call for emergencies
Desired Qualifications
- Maintenance experience
- H-VAC experience
