Maintenance Assistant LLH Retirement in Williamsburg, VA performs a multitude of general mechanical maintenance tasks, inspects, services and repairs equipment (including wheelchairs, beds, carts, furniture), and handles assembly, installation and maintenance of equipment. Specializes in repairs, replacement and installation in carpentry/woodworking, locks and door hardware or medical gas systems. Requires ability to operate a computer and software; on-call coverage and emergency 12-hour shifts with snow removal and storm cleanup. Responsible for cleaning spills, assisting with clean-up, and maintaining a safe, respectful team environment while providing high-quality service to residents and coworkers. Licenses or certifications include CFC certification (preferred). Education includes high school diploma or GED (preferred). Drivers license required.
