Job Summary
Read blueprints and manuals, then maintain or repair motor controls, programmable controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical fixtures. Operate hand and power tools safely to replace faulty circuits, breakers, and low voltage equipment. Repair plaster, drywall, plumbing systems, and medical equipment including motors, stoves, dryers, and washers. Assess physical plant problems and respond to issues while applying knowledge of building codes and emergency operations. Full-time role with $18–$20/hr pay. Required Qualifications
- General experience in equipment maintenance
- demonstrated skills in using proper basic hand tools and materials
- Able to assess physical plant problems and respond to physical plant problems
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of electrical and plumbing
- Basic knowledge of copper, galvanized, and plastic pipe
- Basic knowledge of HVAC
- Working knowledge of building codes, fire regulations, and emergency plant operations
- Industry experience or similar general maintenance and repair background
