Job Summary
Assist with preventive maintenance, repairs, and replacements while inspecting equipment and systems regularly for proper functioning and safety. Run errands, handle freight, and lift heavy furniture. Exhibit excellent customer service, assist in patient evacuations, and communicate productively on an interdisciplinary team. Maintain professional relationships with associates and vendors while adhering to Life Care's Code of Conduct, harassment procedures, and all applicable laws, regulations, and Life Care standards. Perform proficiently in competency areas including patient rights, safety, and sanitation. Valid driver's license, one year maintenance experience, and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license in current State with satisfactory driving record per Life Care standards
- Read, write, speak, and understand the English language
Desired Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Minimum of one (1) year maintenance experience preferred
- Proven knowledge of various mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred
- Knowledge of local building codes and ordinance preferred
