Job Summary
Inspect, fix, and maintain assigned duties including changing lights and ballasts, servicing outside water fountains, and completing scheduled maintenance tasks. Respond promptly to maintenance requests for guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house operations while delivering excellent customer service. Maintain grounds by blowing and clearing leaves, gritting paths, and assisting with heavy lifting, furniture moving, and tenant apartment clearing. Perform dual role duties as a maintenance technician and custodial worker, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year minimum experience in maintenance
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handle, reach outward, reach above shoulder, crawl, squat/kneel, bend, push and pull frequently
- Ability to use upper and lower extremities to move or transport 25 to 50 pounds
- Ability to bend the body downward and forward by bending spine at waist, and bending legs at knees and moving extremities in any direction
- Ability to withstand physical demands on the body, including being in a stationary and/or standing position most of the day
- Ability to express and exchange ideas by means of the spoken word
- Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
