Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary
Maintain the grounds, building, and equipment for the health campus while making daily rounds to identify and address safety concerns. Perform repairs as needed on equipment, structures, and grounds. Assist with the overall operation of the Maintenance Department in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations. Drive the health campus bus for required maintenance appointments or resident trips as directed by the Maintenance Manager. Requires a high school diploma, 1-3 years of relevant experience, and ability to operate a large van or bus safely. Applicants must meet state transportation requirements and complete a DOT physical if located in Kentucky.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to operate a large van or bus (up to 15 passengers) safely and efficiently
- Meets all state requirements for transporting residents, including proper licensing and certifications
- For Kentucky applicants: Must complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical before providing transportation service
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED/HSE preferred
- 1-3 years of relevant experience preferred
