Job Summary
Conduct routine maintenance on community interiors and exteriors, including carpentry, painting, basic electrical, plumbing, and locksmith tasks. Respond to resident and staff requests via the log system, ensuring 24-hour repair response times for daily maintenance needs. Assist the Maintenance Director with fire and life safety training, drills, and preventative maintenance logs while coordinating small refurbishment projects and contractor safety. Manage grounds, building exteriors, and signage year-round, including weeding, trimming beds, and seasonal foliage care. Maintain a safe, attractive, and mechanically sound environment with weekly, monthly, and quarterly inspections. Available for emergency calls as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to exert 50-75 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25-50 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10-25 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects
- Must be willing and be available for emergency calls if needed
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
