Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant responsible for care and upkeep of interior/exterior community grounds, following community guidelines and supervi sor directions. Duties include cleaning, repairing equipment and property per work orders, maintaining safe work areas, PPE compliance, monitoring security, organizing storage areas, and performing interior/exterior painting, landscaping, plumbing/electrical repairs, pool/spa maintenance, and preparing vacant apartments. The role requires troubleshooting abilities, ability to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance, and effective communication with residents and teammates. Schedule is Full Time (Wednesday–Saturday) with flexible hours; location in Woodinville, WA at MBK Senior Living. Compensation ranges from $22 to $24 per hour, DOE; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k), childcare/eldercare assistance, and other employee perks.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (if over 18)
- Background clearances as required by government regulations
- Complete a health screening and negative TB test results (within 6 months or within 7 days of employment)
- Valid driver's license with state vehicle/van capacity and valid insurance
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Ability to safely operate a variety of tools and equipment
- Ability to interact effectively with people of different ages and backgrounds
