Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant responsible for routine building maintenance including grounds care, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, HVAC/heating and cooling systems, and coordinating daily maintenance with nursing services in resident living areas to ensure the facility and equipment are well-maintained for resident comfort and convenience.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledgeable of maintenance practices, procedures, building codes and safety regulations.
- Knowledgeable of boilers, compressors, generators and various mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
- Familiar with maintenance of a building such as a nursing home, apartment complex or business facility.
