Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant responsible for supporting building care, resident suites, and common areas to keep the community safe, clean, and comfortable; perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, safety checks, drills, and documentation; complete work orders, assist with painting, maintain tools and logs, support housekeeping and grounds as needed; communicate progress to residents and team, utilizing hand/power tools with safe practices, and applying problem-solving, organization, and customer-focused communication in a healthcare residential setting.
Required Qualifications
- At least 21 years of age; valid driver’s license with qualifying abstract
- Current negative TB test; able to pass background check
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs with assistance
- CPR/First Aid or ability to obtain
- Time management and independent work ethic
