Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant performs and supports maintenance of all building, equipment, and supplies, coordinating with the Maintenance & Safety Lead to determine maintenance schedules, procuring and stocking shop supplies, and reporting repair needs. The role requires adherence to OSHA requirements, developing and maintaining standard daily maintenance procedures, and assisting with safety training and program development. It may fill in for the Maintenance & Safety Lead as needed. The physical environment includes a shop setting with exposure to loud sounds and moving parts. The posting notes OSHA 10 certification is required. The position is entry level with starting pay around $18.00/hour, and involves working with production staff to ensure tool and equipment safety and availability.
