Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary
Perform routine maintenance tasks throughout the facility as assigned, assisting with minor repairs and upkeep of facility equipment and tools. Maintain the physical plant, grounds, and equipment in safe, working order while ensuring a clean, hazard-free environment for residents, staff, and visitors. Support the Maintenance Supervisor in daily operations and preventative maintenance, reporting and responding to maintenance issues in a timely and effective manner. Requires experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators. Full-time position with comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance, plus PTO and 401(k) eligibility.
Required Qualifications
- Has experience with HVAC systems, boilers, water systems, washers, dryers, and emergency generators
- Understands basic principles of preventive maintenance
- Communicates clearly and works well within a team
- Maintains a safety-focused, detail-oriented approach
- Can adapt to changing facility needs and priorities
