Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary
Perform general facility maintenance, including repairs to walls, baseboards, doors, ceilings, mirrors, and windows. Complete drywall repair, patching, painting, and basic carpentry work while handling routine tasks for plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems. Coordinate maintenance activities with nursing staff in resident care areas and respond to unscheduled or emergency requests. Maintain facility grounds through mowing, trimming, sweeping, and general upkeep, and assist with the Preventative Maintenance Program. Requires prior experience in general maintenance, familiarity with hand and power tools, and a valid driver's license. Full-time, on-site role with every other weekend and holiday schedule, shift differential available, and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), and tuition assistance.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience in general maintenance and mechanical work
- Experience with drilling, wall repair, and painting
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Valid driver's license
