Job Summary
Troubleshoot building mechanical problems and perform scheduled, preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure satisfactory operations. Maintain working knowledge of electrical systems, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems while following established safety rules and policies. Complete miscellaneous repairs and grounds maintenance as assigned by the Maintenance Director and Administrator. Valid driver's license required; previous long-term care experience preferred. Full-time day shift position in Hockessin, DE.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to work independently or part of a group
- Computer knowledge
- Working understanding of physical plant repairs / preventative maintenance and grounds maintenance
- Valid drivers license
Desired Qualifications
- Previous Maintenance Experience in a Long-Term Care Setting Preferred
- Previous long term care experience is preferred
