Job Summary
Clean vacated units for lease and move-in, manage trash pickup, and ensure all property grounds, common areas, and exteriors remain safe and compliant with OSHA standards. Assess physical conditions, recommend improvements with manager approval, and complete work orders timely while maintaining an organized maintenance shop. Oversee exterior lighting inspections, set realistic project deadlines, and address potential liability situations promptly. Maintain professional quality in workmanship and reporting throughout all tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year relevant experience managing building systems in student housing
- At least 1 year experience with building automation systems and life safety systems
- Strong ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Entrepreneurial mindset — creative, proactive, and willing to challenge the status quo to better serve residents and the company
- Be a passionate mentor and team builder, invested in the growth and development of others
- Act as an ambassador of the CLS Livings culture, bringing energy, pride, and leadership to the community
