Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant provides quality maintenance services to the Community ensuring cleanliness, safety, and polished appearance per Century Park standards. Responsibilities include assisting the Maintenance Services Director with maintenance programs across heating, cooling, water, gas, electrical, plumbing, grounds, carpentry, painting, sprinklers, fire alarms, building exteriors, and other facilities tasks; handling work orders; completing minor repairs; preparing apartments for residency; supporting preventive maintenance; promoting energy conservation; advising on equipment repairs; completing special projects; assisting with housekeeping, freight handling, and grounds maintenance; supporting resident move-ins/outs; and ensuring safety and compliance.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of one year maintenance experience
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems preferred
- Knowledge of local building codes and ordinances preferred
