Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant at Bell Tower Residence performs general maintenance and repairs throughout the facility, assists with preventative maintenance programs, troubleshoots and repairs building systems and equipment, maintains safe operation of building and grounds, responds to maintenance requests and emergencies, participates in on-call rotations, supports compliance with regulations, assists with annual maintenance planning and ordering of supplies, and collaborates with administration and staff. Requires a high school diploma or GED, valid Wisconsin driver’s license, ability to complete required CBRF training within 90 days, and English literacy; preferred background includes 3+ years of building maintenance and experience with plumbing, electrical, boiler/hot water systems, HVAC, painting, carpentry, and related trades. Strong troubleshooting, blueprints/technical documents reading, tool use, safety awareness, teamwork, and communication skills expected.
