Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant at Bell Partners responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the community grounds and exterior spaces. Under the direction of the Community Manager or Maintenance Manager, duties include maintaining grounds, cleaning around buildings, trimming and mowing, planting and tending flowerbeds/shrubs, operating basic maintenance tools, cleaning gutters, performing pool maintenance as needed, snow and salt removal, cleaning vacated apartments, assisting with light maintenance and punch lists, painting and moving appliances, and adhering to safety/OSHA requirements. Requires high school diploma or equivalent, at least 2+ years of grounds keeping/landscaping experience in a multi-family environment, and ability to perform physically demanding tasks; HVAC/EPA certifications may be required depending on staffing. Must maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2+ years of grounds keeping experience in a multi-family environment
- 2+ years of landscaping experience
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 80 lbs)
- HVAC/EPA certifications may be required in some communities
- Must be able to work outdoors in varied weather
- Regular attendance and punctuality
