Job Summary
Assist the Maintenance Director with daily operations, performing routine repairs on handrails, windows, walls, ceilings, and flooring. Manage HVAC systems, emergency lighting, fire alarms, and sprinkler systems while maintaining the building and grounds to ensure a safe, clean environment. Provide excellent customer service to residents and families, assuming supervisory responsibilities when the director is absent. Follow written and verbal instructions regarding safety protocols and sanitation standards. Work full-time in Orlando, Florida, earning $20–$23 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience
- Ability to work independently while following direction and feedback
- Knowledge of basic repairs and general facility maintenance
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new maintenance procedures
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions related to maintenance and safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety, sanitation, and organization
