Maintenance Assistant

Job Summary
Maintain grounds, facility, and equipment in a safe, efficient manner while adhering to federal, state, and local standards and established policies. Ensure maintenance schedules are followed for respective shifts and areas, coordinating daily services with nursing staff in resident living spaces. Follow fire safety and all precautionary procedures during work, keeping the plant and facility in good repair to ensure resident comfort and convenience. Maintain the care of supplies and equipment while upholding the appearance of work areas. Make independent decisions and interact tactfully with personnel, residents, and visitors. Full-time weekend and day shifts required.

- Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, and the general public
- Must maintain the care and use of supplies, equipment, etc.
