Job Summary
Maintain the facility environment by ensuring it remains clean, safe, and comfortable while following company policies. Operate, repair, and maintain boilers, compressors, generators, HVAC systems, electrical, and plumbing systems in accordance with federal, state, and local standards. Plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation while controlling and tracking direct spending and labor budgets. Read and interpret blueprints and wiring schematics to execute work safely. This role supports the Maintenance Department within a healthcare facility committed to person-centered care and teamwork.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1-3 years' experience in the operation of boilers, compressors, generators, and mechanical systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring schematics, etc.
- Knowledgeable in building codes, safety regulations, and maintenance practices.
- Licensed in accordance with current applicable standards, codes, labor laws, etc.
- Ability to plan and carry out repair programs, new construction, and equipment installation.
- Ability to control and track direct spending and labor budgets.
