Job Summary
Assist the Maintenance Supervisor in maintaining the community's physical plant and grounds to ensure a safe, attractive, and enjoyable living environment for residents, staff, and the public. Perform maintenance services requiring stamina, strength, and endurance, focusing on tasks such as drywall, plumbing, painting, electrical work, and heating and cooling systems. Demonstrate C.A.R.E. values—Compassion, Accountability, Relationships, and Excellence—while creating a comforting atmosphere and working toward excellent care for residents. Full-time, on-call every other weekend.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrates C.A.R.E. values to our residents, family members, customers and staff. Compassion, Accountability, Relationships and Excellence
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months of related experience and/or training
- equivalent combination of education and experience
Desired Qualifications
- Prior maintenance experience preferred - drywall, plumbing, painting
- Knowledge in electrical, heating and cooling helpful
