Job Summary
Conduct preventative maintenance on production equipment including wire cutters, wrappers, and grinders. Repair or replace defective parts, assemble wiring, and perform tool changeovers while assisting operators with machine operations and troubleshooting. Use hand and power tools alongside precision measuring instruments to ensure machines run smoothly and building systems operate efficiently. Escalate issues to leadership as needed and strictly comply with all environmental, safety, and legal regulations. Perform duties in conditions involving low to high temperatures and humidity with the ability to lift 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Basic technical knowledge of all building systems (electrical, heating etc.)
- Previous experience repairing machinery
- Knowledge of health & safety practices and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- An eye for detail
- High school diploma
- Degree from a vocational school
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift
- Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity
