Job Summary
Perform repairs and do preventative maintenance on mechanicals while preparing rooms for new residents. Communicate effectively with residents, other staff, and the Maintenance Director regarding updates or issues requiring attention. Assist the Maintenance Director in general maintenance and repair operations, focusing on the lowest-cost solutions for maintenance issues. Work the Friday, Saturday, and Sunday schedule, performing light housekeeping as needed. Must be able to take a 2-step TB test and maintain resident confidentiality.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care community
- Skilled at building relationships with residents and staff members
- Ability to maintain resident confidentiality
- Knowledge and/or ability to learn federal, state, and local regulations
- Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
- Must be able to do light housekeeping
- Must be available Friday, Saturday & Sunday
