Job Summary
Perform repairs and do preventative maintenance on mechanicals, and prepare rooms for new residents. Communicate effectively with residents, other staff, and the Maintenance Director regarding updates or issues requiring attention. Work Wednesday through Friday from 10:00am to 7:00pm, and on Saturday and Sunday from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Take a two-step TB test and demonstrate ability to learn facilities and operations systems management for an assisted living and dementia care community. Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of and/or ability to learn the theory and practice of facilities and operations systems management in an assisted living and dementia care community
- Skilled at building relationships with residents and staff members
- Ability to maintain resident confidentiality
- Knowledge and/or ability to learn federal, state, and local regulations
- Must be willing to take 2-step TB test
