Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant responsible for maintaining rooms, amenities, and communal spaces; perform maintenance, repair, painting, and improvement tasks with general building skills including basic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. Identify issues before they escalate, apply safety practices, and carry out maintenance and preventive maintenance projects. Requires strong problem solving and effective communication with guests, contractors, and management; able to work a variety of shifts including weekends and public holidays; physically demanding role in a hospitality environment.
