Job Summary
Maintenance Assistant to perform a mix of maintenance, repair, painting and improvement tasks across the property. You will spot issues before they escalate, use your hands-on skills to address a range of tasks, and ensure rooms, amenities and communal spaces remain in excellent condition. Responsibilities include executing maintenance and preventative maintenance projects, collaborating with a diverse team and working with independence as needed. The role requires a get-up-and-go attitude, physical capability for a hands-on environment, and strong problem-solving and communication skills to interact with management, guests, and onsite contractors. Shifts are typically in the afternoon/evening (1:00pm–9:00pm) with potential weekend work during peak periods; hourly pay rates vary by day (weekday, Saturday, Sunday and public holidays). Required Qualifications
- Prior experience with practical skills in general building maintenance, including basic carpentry, plumbing, or electrical – no official qualification required
