Job Summary
The Maintenance Assistant operates under the supervision of the Maintenance Director, managing the Community safety program and ensuring a secure environment for residents. Responsibilities include sustaining a preventative maintenance program for community equipment, plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems; completing maintenance requests efficiently; performing repairs and installations; maintaining water heaters and plumbing systems; and engaging compassionately with residents. Strong communication skills and experience in HVAC or electrical systems are essential.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or GED equivalent required
- Experience in HVAC systems and/or electrical required
- Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Desired Qualifications
- Prior Senior living experience desired
