Maintenance Apprentice

Maintenance Apprentice will learn all functions of packaging equipment across production lines, including performing changeovers, troubleshooting and repairing glue melting pots, printers and other supporting equipment, and gaining basic knowledge of evaporators and steam systems. Under the guidance of experienced technicians, the role covers preventative maintenance tasks, reading schematics, and developing basic electrical skills with tools like a multi-meter. Key duties include documenting repairs on CMMS, following written procedures and checklists, maintaining safety (LOTO), coordinating with the maintenance planner, and assisting with production setups and equipment transformations. The position requires flexibility for overtime and holiday work, with a focus on safe, efficient maintenance of mechanical equipment and facility upkeep.
