Job Summary
Part-time Maintenance & Support Associate at Universal Bank responsible for facility upkeep, groundskeeping, and general upkeep, while flexibly supporting teller duties, customer service, administrative tasks, and other banking operations as staffing needs arise. Responsibilities include routine maintenance and minor repairs of facilities, cleaning interiors and grounds, coordinating with vendors for specialized services, assisting with branch setup for meetings/events, cross-training in teller and customer service functions, serving as backup teller during peak periods, processing basic customer transactions, guiding customers to appropriate personnel, and supporting administrative tasks. Requires high school diploma or equivalent; ability to perform physical tasks; attention to detail; basic computer skills; and strong communication and integrity within banking policies. Schedule can vary with potential evenings, weekends, or holidays; role emphasizes adaptability, teamwork, and multi-role support.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in maintenance, custodial, facilities, or general labor preferred
- Customer service, cash handling, or banking experience a plus
- Ability to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 pounds, standing, walking, bending, climbing ladders)
- Strong attention to detail and professional environment
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with bank policies and regulations
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
