Maintenance and Housekeeping Manager

Supervise maintenance staff by determining workloads and schedules while evaluating personnel for hiring or termination recommendations. Maintain established facilities in accordance with local and state building codes and manage all maintenance departments regarding cost management, methods, and staffing. Develop and implement policies and procedures with leadership to establish departmental goals, negotiate sub-contractor contracts, and inspect contractor work to ensure safe practices. Ensure preventative maintenance procedures are carried out on a scheduled basis, complete maintenance records, and recommend equipment replacements. Prepare service estimates based on labor, material, and machine costs, maintain budgets for individual projects, and perform periodic reports on work order completion rates. Establish effective working relationships with employees, vendors, and the general public to work toward continual organizational improvement.
