Job Summary
Maintenance and Housekeeper Manager responsible for supervising maintenance staff, managing workloads and schedules, and ensuring facilities are maintained in accordance with local and state building codes. Lead will develop and implement policies, oversee budgets and cost management, prepare service estimates, negotiate sub-contractor contracts, and enforce safety and security regulations. Must demonstrate strong leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and the ability to train staff on company policies and job responsibilities. Position requires extensive knowledge of maintenance practices, tools, safety standards, and experience with preventive maintenance and records management. Requires valid driver’s license and basic computer skills; state builder’s license and HVAC certification preferred. On-site leadership role with occasional travel.”,
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required
- Basic computer skills
- Considerable knowledge of building and facilities maintenance and repair
- Considerable knowledge of tools and equipment used in building maintenance and construction trades
- Knowledge of safety standards and precautions
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Leadership abilities; ability to train staff on policies and responsibilities
- Ability to work under pressure and enforce security/safety regulations
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow client direction
- Ability to manage workloads, schedules, budgets, and staff performance
- Experience with preventative maintenance procedures and record-keeping
- Ability to develop budgets and manage costs
- Ability to negotiate contractor sub-work and ensure safe practices
- Ability to establish relationships with employees, vendors, and the public
- Experience in coordinating maintenance projects and service estimates
- Ability to read and interpret detailed documents
- Occasional travel may be required
