Job Summary
Conduct general maintenance and upkeep for Palm Beach Tan retail locations in the St. Louis area, traveling to various sites to complete required work. Perform minor carpentry, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing repairs, including washing walls, ceilings, and windows, as well as touch-up painting and light bulb replacement. Set up and tear down equipment, change tanning equipment lamps, and assist in shipping and receiving parts. Use hand and power tools for grounds maintenance while adhering to all safety rules. Report work accomplished orally or on written orders to the supervisor. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to lift up to 75 pounds, and three months of on-the-job training. Variable hours up to full-time depending on growth potential.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 75 pounds
- Ability to work occasionally in poor weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain
- Valid Driver's license
- Previous experience in building and equipment maintenance work
- Ability to acquire job skills with three months of on-the-job training
