Job Summary
Hands-on Maintenance & Facilities Manager to develop and lead preventive maintenance programs, manage spare parts, SOPs, and site improvements for a scalable manufacturer; collaborates with operations, engineering, and leadership; ensures safety, OSHA compliance, and uptime; supervises maintenance supervisors and technicians; coordinates contractors; plans projects and regulatory inspections.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience leading maintenance or facility teams in a manufacturing environment (chemical and processing preferred)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on maintenance experience
- Proactive problem solver, resourceful and adaptable with high-energy can-do attitude
- Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and OSHA standards
- Experience thriving in small company environments with expedited growth with changing priorities
- Proficient in technology for operational tracking, project and maintenance management
- Proven leadership ability managing technicians or small maintenance teams
- Skilled in implementing preventive maintenance programs
- Experience coordinating contractors and equipment installation
- Knowledgeable specifying equipment and purchasing maintenance parts
- Familiarity with industrial electrical power distribution, a plus
- Experience interacting with state or county regulatory agencies
