Job Summary
Diagnose and repair automated machinery, including conveyors, robotic systems, and cranes, while performing preventive maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and fluid power systems. Assist engineering staff with the specification, installation, and modification of automation systems, utilizing computer skills for technical research and document organization. Troubleshoot integrated systems and read electrical schematics to ensure operational integrity across cold and dry storage environments. Requires two years of industrial maintenance experience with PLC and HMI proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 2 years experience in industrial maintenance or automation
- specific experience in troubleshooting electrical controls
- specific experience with PLCs
- specific experience with mechanical systems
- Strong understanding of PLC programming
- Strong understanding of HMI configuration
- Strong understanding of control systems
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals
- Familiarity with E Maintenance or Equivalent Maintenance programs
- willingness to learn E Maintenance or Equivalent Maintenance programs
- strong computer skills
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs./23 kgs.
- Ability to work a flexible work schedule and shift
- Ability to work weekends if needed
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -20 Fahrenheit/-25 Celsius
- Ability to work in temperatures up to 100 Fahrenheit/37 Celsius
