Job Summary
Lead maintenance, engineering, and reliability teams to achieve world-class Environmental, Health & Safety performance. Manage maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution processes to ensure efficient plant operations while overseeing preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance strategies. Coordinate turnarounds, shutdowns, and major projects, monitoring KPIs for backlog, schedule compliance, and budget performance. Manage capital expenditure budgets, contractor performance, and MRO inventory optimization. Lead the Mechanical Integrity program to ensure regulatory compliance and drive continuous improvement using Lean and visual management methodologies. Develop and mentor maintenance professionals to build a high-performing team.
Required Qualifications
- unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- 5+ years of experience in maintenance, reliability, engineering, or asset management within a manufacturing or industrial environment
- Experience leading maintenance teams and managing maintenance work management processes
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and business needs
- Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution best practices
- Understanding of Maintenance Engineering and Mechanical Integrity (PSM) concepts
- Experience utilizing performance metrics and visual management tools to drive results
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, email, and internet-based business tools
- Working knowledge of SAP Maintenance Module or similar CMMS/ERP systems
- Participation in the maintenance duty roster and availability for call-ins when required to support site operations

- Certified Reliability Leader (CRL)
- Lean Six Sigma Certification
- Experience managing capital projects and maintenance budgets
- Experience supporting Mechanical Integrity and Process Safety Management programs in a chemical manufacturing environment
