Maintenance Administrator

Job Summary
Facilitate day-to-day maintenance planning by receiving work requests, assigning priorities, and coordinating labor, equipment, and materials for breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance. Create work orders, schedule tasks, and manage third-party quotes while advising management of operational status and potential problems. Identify assets for preventive maintenance within the CMMS, analyze results to refine inspection plans, and produce standard reports on key performance indicators. Collaborate with superintendents, camp managers, and vendors to stabilize schedules, resolve conflicts, and implement process improvements. This onsite role operates on a rotational schedule (14/14, 21/10, or 28/14) with provided meals and accommodations, requiring drug, alcohol, and fit-to-work testing.
Required Qualifications
- Post-secondary diploma or degree
- Journeyman tradesperson
- combination of relevant work experience
- Industry knowledge and familiarity with camp facilities and equipment
- valid driver's license
- flexible to travel
- Must possess a valid driver's license and be flexible to travel
Desired Qualifications
- Excellent working knowledge in using at least one of the CMMS systems (i.e., Maintenance Connection, or Maximo) and database applications is an asset
- Proficient with MS Office programs
- Ability to lead meetings
- Sound planning, prioritization, and execution skills
- Strong problem identification and problem resolution skills
