Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, including servomotors, controls, compressors, and related components. Interpret electrical schematics, operate electrical tools, and research technical information needed to repair new or unfamiliar equipment. Perform preventative maintenance, maintain accurate repair records, and keep the maintenance area organized, clean, and compliant with all safety procedures (including lockout/tagout). Prioritize workplace safety, collaborate closely with machine operators, and support overtime needs to keep equipment running reliably.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance or related field preferred
- 2 years of related experience may substitute for the degree
- 3+ years in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, control systems, and PLC troubleshooting
- Able to read technical documentation and communicate root causes clearly
