Job Summary
Conduct daily maintenance operations at the Mount Juliet Distribution Warehouse, troubleshooting minor electrical, structural, plumbing, and equipment issues. Perform preventative building maintenance, routine repairs like fixing leaks or changing lights, and handle tasks including painting, furniture assembly, and conveyor upkeep. Operate manual pallet jacks and drive all required equipment while adhering to strict safety protocols and OSHA standards. Requires 1-year industrial maintenance experience, ability to lift 25-50 lbs, and passing pre-employment driving and aptitude tests. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 3:00pm to 11:30pm CT, with flexibility for overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Prefer 1-year previous experience in Industrial Maintenance
- Knowledge of building maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of machinery, equipment, and tools necessary for the maintenance and repair
- Knowledge of occupational hazards and safety
- Skilled in reading and following assembly directions
- Skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards
- Skilled in using hand and power tools
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff and leadership
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
- Ability to work the 2nd shift work schedule: Monday through Friday 3:00pm to 11:30pm CT
- This position requires schedule flexibility, as dictated by business demand and available resources including overtime at times
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be able to pass required OSHA CERTIFIED Written Test
- Must be able to pass pre-employment basic aptitude driving test
- Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to count accurately and efficiently
- Ability to focus on details
- Accuracy is a must
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to lift 25-50 lbs
- Ability to operate a manual pallet jack
- Ability to drive all equipment and knowledge of hydraulics
