Job Summary
Industrial Maintenance Mechanic – Dallas (2nd Shift) maintains and repairs PLC-controlled production equipment in Pepperoni production plant. Performs corrective (CM), preventative (PM), and predictive (PdM) maintenance, conducts inspections, calibrations, and rebuilds, and leverages CMMS to document activities. Uses advanced techniques such as thermo-graphic, ultrasonic, and vibration analysis to assess equipment health and predict failures, performs root-cause analysis, and provides corrective actions. Duties include training other personnel, ensuring safety compliance (LOTO, hot work, confined space), operating a forklift, and supporting continuous improvement (LEAN) with a focus on quality, craftsmanship, and timely maintenance. Requires ability to read technical manuals, strong communication, and forklift certification (or ability to obtain). Relocation not offered. Tyson Foods is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
Required Qualifications
- 1 year of Industrial Maintenance Mechanic Experience
- Forklift certified or able to get certified
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to understand technical manuals
- Experience with CMMS is preferred
- Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance
