Job Summary
Conduct maintenance and repair of electrical systems within St. Lucie Public Schools facilities, ensuring compliance with safety standards and operational needs. Submit daily work logs and complete required training modules as part of the onboarding process. Provide accurate responses to background check inquiries regarding criminal history, court dispositions, and prior employment with the district. Submit transcripts and licensure documentation during the application phase to verify qualifications. Maintain a negative drug test result and adhere to the district's drug-free workplace policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must receive a negative drug test result prior to being hired
- Must be 18 years or older
- Must be a United States citizen or otherwise legally authorized to work in the United States
- Must provide a court disposition for any sealed, expunged, or expunged records
- Must submit a copy of DD-214 if claiming Veteran's Preference
- Must submit a copy of transcript for all college credit
- Must provide CPR/First AED Certification
- Must provide Paraprofessional Test Score
- Must provide TABE Scores
- Must provide Resume
- Must provide Licensure/Certificate
