Job Summary
Landscape maintenance installation business developer drives growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing contracts for small-scale landscape construction and installation projects. Builds a healthy sales pipeline, develops customized proposals and presentations, negotiates and closes contracts, and maintains relationships with property managers, developers, general contractors, and decision-makers. Transitions installations to maintenance teams, conducts follow-ups to ensure satisfaction and retention, stays informed on local market conditions and industry trends, represents the company at trade associations and events, collaborates with estimating and project management to ensure accurate proposals, and reviews large-scale opportunities with senior leadership. Requires 3-5 years of B2B sales experience in related industries, knowledge of landscape practices, strong negotiation and presentation skills, CRM and MS Office proficiency, and willingness to travel locally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Horticulture, Landscape Architecture, or related field preferred (or equivalent work experience)
- 3-5 years of proven success in B2B sales preferably in landscaping, construction, property management, facility management, or related service industries
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance and installation practices, horticulture, and project management fundamentals
- Strong sales, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and comfortable working independently
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office Suite, and sales reporting
